About the Course:

Sewing is the craft or manufactured way of joining two parts of a fabric cloth, leather, shell, or other materials, using needle and thread. Its use is almost universal among human populations and dates back to the Paleolithic period (30000 a.C.). The seam is prior to weaving cloth.
Sewing is mainly used to produce clothing and household furniture, such as curtains, bedding, upholstery and table cloths. It is also used for candles, bellows, leather boats, flag, and other shaped items made from flexible materials such as canvas and leather.
Most of the world's industrial sewing is machine-made. Garments are often first put together. The machine has a complex set of shafts leading to the movement of the needle, or needles, through which threads are threaded, which allow the joining of the two fabrics, or other materials, when manually made the stitcher joins only with the needle.
